Graduated from Otterbein University with Bachelor's of Music Performance with focus on F Horn (3.6 GPA), and from University of Phoenix with a Master's of Science in Psychology (3.9 GPA).
Experience
Tutored Jr. High Students while in high school, and tutored theory and music history in college. Completed two semesters of teaching styles and pedagogy while at Otterbein, and childhood development and theories of teaching and learning at University of Phoenix. Currently teach private Horn lessons in my home, and hold excellent rapport with students and their school directors.

Hobbies
I am a dog lover. My fiance and I own a two-year-old bulldog mix named Tripps (because he is always underfoot and we trip over him consistently, haha). We spoil him as if he were our actual child. I am a major sports fan! The only sports I don't enjoy watching are baseball and golf (I will go to baseball games, I just don't enjoy watching it on TV). I follow Buckeye football and basketball, the Cincinnati Bengals, and the Columbus Blue Jackets. I also follow Pickerington Central football, and Pickerington North soccer and girl's cross country. I grew up riding and showing horses and I try to run as often as possible when my knees aren't hurting. I'm also an avid reader. To celebrate the spooky Halloween season I'm currently reading Bram Stoker's Dracula, and then I plan to move on to Robert Lewis Stevenson's Jekyll and Hyde and then Mary Shelly's Frankenstein. I don't just read the nerdy classics though! I try to keep up on the hit teen dystopian series (Hunger Games, Maze Runner, Giver, Divergent, etc. I haven't started the Giver series yet and have only read the first Maze Runner book, but plan to continue them soon after I've completed my Halloween list) and murder/suspense/thriller novels as well. I like to think of it as the best of both worlds: I get to explore and be in danger and get a thrill while snuggling safely with my dog and a cup of tea! I am not, however, a homebody, but do enjoy traveling and experiencing other cultures when the opportunity arrives. I have been to Canada, Mexico, the Bahamas, Italy, Austria, Germany, and Australia. I hope to one day see Ireland, Switzerland, Russia, India, and Indonesia.
